Casa de los Sueños is a magical place. From the moment you walk in the door, it is an oasis. It radiates tranquility, peace and a sense of “home.” Aside from being an incredibly beautiful resort with breathtaking views and an extremely inviting atmosphere, our staff are especially in tune with your every desire.
Located on charming Isla Mujeres, an island 20 minutes off the coast of Cancún Mexico, Casa de los Sueños is a 9-room spa resort for guests seeking specialized treatments and total relaxation. A poetic celebration of the senses, Casa de los Sueños is where mind, body and spiritual indulgence converge.
Overlooking the turquoise passage that renders Isla Mujeres, the contemporary Mexican architecture of the villa-style building is enriched with strong colors, texture and dominant Asian touches, a theme that repeats throughout. Each of the ocean-view rooms is aptly named to reflect the planned effect of this spa and wellness resort – Sun, Moon, Liberty, Peace, Abundance, Harmony, Serenity, Joy and Love.
All of the guest rooms are uniquely designed with tranquil colors and handcrafted objects. Fabrics and embroideries chosen from Mexican villages fuse with Eastern and Old World furnishings – an exotic ensemble. Ocean breezes and sumptuous beds draped in Frette Egyptian linens lend to one of Mexico’s most euphoric sleeping experiences.
In addition to the 9 guest rooms, there is a Private Villa which is ideal for newlyweds and honeymooners. This dreamy villa has its own private swimming pool and Japanese garden, and is available for the ultimate romantic escapade.
The Spa services offered at Casa de los Sueños are extensive and can be customized with a therapist consultation. Guests have access to kayaks, bicycles, and snorkeling gear to discover the natural wonders that make up Isla Mujeres. A wonderful complimentary continental breakfast is served daily, including fresh baked pastries and fresh tropical fruit, natural juices and gourmet coffee and tea.
The restaurant, “Almar Lounge” more than succeeds in appeasing the eye and the palate. An eclectic menu of classic European, Mexican and Asian cuisine is balanced with lighter fare in the day and more elaborate dishes in the evening, all coordinated by the owner and the watchful eye of the chefs. It is located just above the bay, it is an open air palapa which makes for a beautiful location for a dinner reception party!
