Pay less attention to what this Indonesian TV Commercial is peddling (beauty lotion), and instead enjoy the beautiful shots of women and landscape in what is arguably the world’s least-known large country, Indonesia. Shot in Bali, Java and Sumba.
Now that the world is busy looking for pristine corners of the world, as source of inspiration for the impending “Green Revolution” to re-invent mankind’s lives around catchphrases like “alternative energy”, “sustainable development”, “responsible tourism”, and “eco… everything”.
It’s refreshing to know that Indonesia is the planet’s major “last frontier”, and the nation must do its share in protecting what can no longer be taken for granted. The development of tourism – in the slow-ER lane – gives Indonesia the opportunity to learn from others’ past mistakes. My hope is that it’s not too late. And Indonesia’s is inclined (and aware) of this importance.
