An excerpt from a BBC documentary that chronicled the Komodo Dragon, the Proboscis Monkey, and Indonesia’s other unique wildlife.
The greatest archipelago in the world… today this land of a thousand islands has a wider diversity of life than anywhere else on the planet ~ “Island Castaways,” Wild Indonesia, BBC
This is a fine film that gives but a glimpse of the diversity of the world’s largest archipelago, Indonesia, that is home to the world’s second largest tropical rainforest after Brazil’s Amazon, and the second richest marine biodiversity after Australia’s Great Barrier Reef.
A true last frontier… not only for the world’s fifth largest population, Indonesia (surprised again about the stats?), but for all mankind! This is not an attempt to present a scary scenario, but simply stating plain hard facts!
